Library Assistant - Summer
Primarily under the direction of the Children’s Librarian, assisting with the summer reading program, preparing program materials, assisting patrons in the children’s department, organizing department materials, and other library tasks as needed.
Recreation and Tourism – Summer Positions
Park Crew Laborer - Summer
Under the direction of the Parks Superintendent, responsible for and general maintenance for all recreation park areas; work safely in all sections of the parks department and do related work as required.
Head Recreational Aide - Summer [Nessler, Lowry]
Responsible for the coordination, organization, production, and continuous supervision of the Nessler Center/Lowry Center Summer Camp programs. Organize and manage special event, programs for the staff and campers, including, but not limited to, registration and daily activities. Report to, and follow written and verbal instruction from the Recreation Coordinator and/or Fitness Coordinator.
Recreational Aide - Summer [Lowry, Nessler, Carver, Sanders/Vincent]
Responsible for the coordination, organization, production, and continuous supervision of the Lowry/Nessler/Carver and Sanders/Vincent Center Summer Camp children. Plan, organize and manages special/specific event programs for the campers, including, but not limited to, registration and daily activities. Report to and follow written and verbal instructions from the Recreation Coordinator and/or Fitness Coordinator and the Summer Camp Head Counselor and/or Sanders/Vincent and/or Carver Center Supervisor.
Summer Food Program - Carver, Sanders/Vincent, Nessler
Responsible for continuous supervision of the Summer Food Service Program. Reports to and follows written and verbal instruction from the Programs/Events Coordinator.
Pool Manager - Summer
Under the supervision of the Aquatics/Fitness Coordinator, responsible for the overall daily operation of the outdoor pools and their staff, ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies, along with related work as required.
Lifeguard - Summer
Responsible for continuous supervision of the outdoor Nessler Park Family Aquatic Center, ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies, along with related work as required. Report to, and follow written and verbal instruction from the Aquatics/Fitness Coordinator and Summer Pool Manager.
Outdoor Pool Cashier - Summer
Under the supervision of the Aquatics/Fitness Coordinator, responsible for collection of fees and minor clerical duties at the outdoor Nessler Park Family Aquatic Center and related work as required.
Aquatics Manager - Summer
Under the supervision of the Aquatics/Fitness Coordinator, responsible for the overall daily operation of the outdoor pools and their staff. Responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies, along with related work as required.
Track Coach - Summer
Under the supervision of the Athletics Coordinator, responsible for specific recreation programs related to track and field.
