Pre-Development Project Meetings are held every Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. via telephone.
The purpose of the Pre-Development meeting is to introduce the developer to local development and building regulations, and the City Officials responsible for all aspects of development in Texas City. Staff explains the various City Ordinances pertinent to that project, the permitting and development processes, and rules and regulations adopted by the City. Generally, the more information an applicant can provide, City staff can reply with more detailed responses and information.
The meeting is attended by a representative of the following City departments:
• City Engineer/Planning

• Fire Marshal
• Economic Development
